Our Story

GEMS English School, Darbhanga, blooming in the year 5th July 2017 with 43 students, in a rural area of North Bihar, Darbhanga District, as First-Generation Students, the school boarded on a mission to provide quality English medium education, accessible and affordable for even middle-class families by the inspiring motto "BE FIRST OR BE WITH THE FIRST.

The challenging factors of high fees that often limit rural children's access to English education and the transportation factor were all dealt with, welcoming students regardless of caste, religion, or background. Their vision extended beyond academics, aiming for "community transformation" through education.

 

The school prioritizes holistic development, nurturing not just intellectual brilliance but also moral values like determination, integrity, commitment, simplicity, sincerity, sacrifice, sanctity, service, and self-discipline, believing in the power of child-centered learning, applying the techniques to tap into each student's full potential in the medium of English. Through extra-curricular activities and co-curricular competitions, igniting intellectual curiosity and fostering versatility in the students.

 

Furthermore, the school instills universally recognized social developmental values like love, charity, unity, fraternity, peace, interdependence, tolerance, and thereby promoting harmony. They cultivate responsible global citizens who respect diversity and promote non-violence and peaceful coexistence.

The school seeks to provide physical learning environment, recognizing the importance of physical well-being, providing a conducive environment for sports and games, contributing to students' overall physical development.
